HESI, (also known as Herts & Essex Site Investigations), is formed by a team of geotechnical and environmental engineers with in excess of 35 years of trading in the construction industry.
HESI used to operate in the areas of Hertfordshire and Essex, hence the name, although, it soon became apparent that work outside the immediate area of Hertfordshire and Essex was available. This work then continued and to remove the localised name, HESI was born.
HESI has worked hand in hand with structural engineers, architects, buildings inspectors, planning officers, home-owners, councils, national and international building companies, commercial business and many more in order to provide a service of site investigation.

HESI manage all elements of the works and can provide Risk Assessments and Method Statements and carry all necessary insurances to complete works. We are Accredited with ‘Alcumus’ and ‘SMAS’ and provide training to all staff to be construction compliant.
We offer a fee proposal for all elements of work and can inspect sites to review best options prior to completion of the works, (which may be subject to a charge depending on distance).
HESI are located just off the M11 roundabout at Bishop’s Stortford and have direct links to the north and south and will price works to attend any site.
